A FRIEND
More valuable than gold,
Not easy to find;
One of quality
is the best kind.
Scarce indeed
they seem today,
Like Four-Leaf Clovers
along the way.
Not all of them last,
Not all are true;
Rare indeed
for real ones are few.
Genuine, dependable, honest;
To what do I refer?
Why, a friend of course,
which you are to me, for sure!
